An Anna and His Chelli

The last time we introduced you to Shiva Kumar he was a ticklish little boy who had a habit of using bad words all the time. He only knew a few words in English and communicated with me mostly through kisses.

This time around his younger sister, Bhargavi, is at Shunem, and we have gotten to see such a great side of this little sweetums. Shiva Kumar is an awesome older brother. In our experience you never know what you’re going to get with sibling groups; sometimes they are the worst to each other and at other times they seem like good friends. Shiva Kumar shows all the other kids what’s up.  He holds Bhargavi’s hand everyday on the walk to school and even carries her tiffin box for her. He sits next to her at lunch when he has plenty of 2nd grade friends he could eat with instead. He lets her fall asleep on him in the middle of the afternoon on school holidays when he could be playing marbles with the rest of the boys his age. He even combs her hair for her in the morning. Shiva Kumar knows how to take care of a girl.

And, the icing on the cake, he is still adorable, still likes to snuggle, is still ticklish, and rules at English.

Bhargavi also rules. She too inherited the ticklish and snuggly genes.  The funniest thing about her is that her favorite activity is screaming. She gets this crazy, happy look on her face that makes you laugh along with her rather than bring an end to her fun.
